Has anyone used a paper air filter inside a original batwing air filter housing?
I am using one in my '54. But the car came with it. So I am eager to hear if this is wise or if it is wiser to go back to the oil bath. Lately I had to remove the aire cleaner many times, and I think in those situations it is nice that the air cleaner is not full of oil (which I presume will spill if the air cleaner does not come off easily).
