Is there any way to freshen up the interior?

I see that it's worn but, I almost think that is what makes the interior look good.

It really looks like it needs a natural oil & conditioner treatment....Or is it too far gone at this point??

I am afraid that the upholstery is beyond saving, as once the cracks get that bad,
the Leather is shot.

There must be something really bad with the outer top of the drivers' seat back, as
there has been a piece of material conveniently placed to cover up something.

Yea I saw that to....the leather is really worn on that corner and in this picture

it looks like the stuffing is coming out.

As Bruce noted, a towel has been strategically placed to hide something. I wonder if this interior was subject to a few top down rain storms? I wouldn't consider myself an expert on anything, much less this year, make, and model of Cadillac, but the price seems awfully steep for a car with a crusty interior, crusty trunk area, crusty engine bay, and thin patina paint? Speaking of the engine bay, I wonder what that mysterious liquid is on top of the air filter cover? Pterodactyl pi$$?

While claiming no rust, are the front floor pans original, or is that an interior patch around a rusted out original floor?  In the
narrative, the owner provides a cautionary note about not expecting the car to be driven any significant distance.  Based on the pictures, this is not a well maintained
car-- it needs a lot of work, and I suspect, on close inspection, will not be attractive for those who are faint of heart and light of wallet. With this kind
of item, I always wonder at what price does it become attractive to someone who will nurse it along as an occasional car without spending a fortune to make it "right"?
Having owned my share of such fully depreciated Cadillacs, I could never justify a high price because it needs extensive work in every square
inch of it

If one was bold enough to redo the interior, I would go with a burgundy red. Dash, seats, door panels and rugs. Now that would be nice.

Here is a 1966 Fleetwood for sale in South Carolina. Is this the same interior leather as
 this Eldorado?

Obviously it hasn't been cooked in the Florida sun. It does look nice.

Hi Mike,

Yes, that's Antique Saddle. I believe I looked at about 15 years ago. The roof on the car is Covert, a greenish tan and strange combination with the Sandalwood paint. I didn't pursue it for several reasons: the price was too high plus the cost of changing the roof color. But, the deal killer was the amount of undercoating. It was all over everything and as thick as stucco.......couldn't get over the thought of what it was hiding

Ralph, your two 66's are glorious!  Sometimes an "SO" is, dare I say, not really so special.   James
