I've read about this car somewhere else also.  The story in the video seems to coincide with what I've read.

Now that's what I call a bucket list car!

I wish they wouldn't do that dam flash photography between different shots though. So unnecessary and plays havoc with my peepers.

Yes, it's real.  It was featured in an article in "Collectible Automobile" dated
November, 1985 (I still have the magazine).  I saw the car at Meadowbrook
several years ago.

It was a "special order" car made at the Clark Street plant for a paper company
executive who had connections at GM.  The fellow wanted something distinctive
and one of a kind.  Price, of course, was no object.  From the initial discussions with
the customer to the final choice of using a modified '53 Eldorado body, the project
took over 5 years and was delivered in 1954.  Cadillac initially tried to talk the
guy out of the supercharger, but he insisted.  That was specially made.

That was back when you could literally order just about anything on an "SO".

My friend has the 54 "dumpster"  photo album. This album has many photos of interest from that year. Like Nat King Cole picking up his car as well as Liberace. Also there is a photo of the super charged Eldorado at the factory.
