To be more precise about the engine --- the '65, '66, and 67 Cadillacs only had the 429 engine, it was the only engine available for those years.  The '63 Cadillac had a 390 that was more like the later 429s, the 390s prior to '63 were a somewhat different structure.

And 64 had 429 as well.
