• Just 19k original miles
• One of only 752 built
• Runs & drives perfectly
• Is in very good overall condition - no rust, leaks etc.
• Everything on and in the car is original - bodywork, paint, electronics, engine etc.

• Has been garage stored for over 30 years and well looked after
• The only thing that needs replacing is the partition glass separating the driver and passenger/s

Ummm, the car pictured is model year 1971. This is what the front of a 1970 Fleetwood Brougham looks like, I know this because I own it....

Could it be that the car was built at the end of 1970, in what the Americans call a 1971 car, but most other parts of the world don't start their models until the start of the new year.

I could never figure out how a car could be built in one year, and the model then called the next year model.   My 1972 Eldorado was built in October of 1971, so it should be referred to as a 1971 model, especially if it was registered prior to the commencement of 1972.

The new models for the next model year were typically introduced in September of the calendar year in the U.S. and Canada.  Thus a 1972 model would be introduced in September of 1971.  In addition, emission and safety standards changed from model year to model year so the model year would not correlate to the calendar year.  Plant changeover usually occurred in late July to start building the cars for the next model year.

Yes, unquestionably the front end is 1971, no doubt.  But how it is registered and titled I have no idea.

I've amended the title/post now - I spoke to the owner who double-checked the paperwork to confirm that it is a 1971. Thanks for pointing it out, Bryan.

Just had another question for you or anyone else, where else do you think would be a good place to list the car?

just FWIW i had a .'59 series 75 imperial formal way back in the day.. i got it used from the SF cadillac dealer, not sure if it was when GM owned that dealership or the later dealer who sold that iconic building to ford lincoln division BUT it was about 1966.. the division window was cracked so i got a new one and installed it.. tricky job but do-able.. when up it gets hot in the driver compartment..
had that car for 20+ years.. wish i had it back now.. calif. license DXC 982.. sold it to a collector..

This is a nice car.  I would try ebay,  better chance of finding buyers in Europe than here
