SOS-  so here's what I did, what happened, and now what.

1.  Restored car in garage for winter and it has one of those reproduction AGM batteries

2. I put it on the battery, tender trickle charge for a day, and the indicator light said battery was fully charged.
3. I went to start the car and it turned over for about 10 seconds then the battery went dead.
4. I brought out my regular battery charger with the 50 amp and 250 amp quick charge. I hooked up the quick charge for the fast start.

5. I jumped in the car dash lights interior lights were all on turn. The key engine did not turn over, but all the lights went out, and now I seem to have no power any place.
6. Oh, what do I check for now?

For starters (forgive the pun), check the battery terminals for corrosion, remove and clean both ends of battery cables.

Well there you go.....but worse.... I have one of those screw top battery terminal disconnects on the negative cable at the battery. It seems that by attempting to fast start with the 250 amp setting the plastic on the disconnect terminal actually melted, causing the negative connection to open. I took off the disconnect terminal all together Pushed the negative cable back directly to the battery put it on a 12 V fast charge came back an hour later lights on full power turned right over started right up

Those cheap screw type battery disconnects are p. poor in my opinion --- they won't handle a lot of amperage, the contact area is small when screwed down, and they suffer from hard to see corrosion at the contact point.  They can (and do) cause the very same type of problem you had.
I have quit using them and am converting to the type pictured below.  Most auto supply stores have them, plus eBay,  Amazon, etc., etc.  They can be disassembled and changed around for different situations.
