I have recently inherited a 1937 LaSalle and am looking for a restoration book/magazine and cannot find one anywhere.  Can someone let me know where to look?

Thanks

- Gwen

Gwen, you are in for the thrill of lifetime restoring a classic LaSalle.  What do you mean by "restoration book"?  Do you mean one for your specific car, or one in general.  There are many general type restoration books and magazine available.  A quick search on the internet should provide you with websites for these books.  I would highly recommend a book authored by a couple of the clubs members, devoted strictly to the LaSalle.  Heres the website:

Before your start any restoration, you have to decide
#1-How much you want to spend toward the restoration, keeping in mind you will always have to spend more LOL.

#2-To what point of restoration do you want to accomplish?  Do you want to have 100percent accurate showcar, or a really good looking car for pleasure?

Good luck to you, and if you arent already a member I would encourage you to join the club, as it will prove to be invaluable in assisting you in a restoration.
