Hello Glenn

I appreciate you for sharing this elegantly designed 1938 LaSalle 5027 CPE with opera seats. There were only 2,711 produced with a Survivor Rate of less than 20%. The 2021 CLC Directory reveals 16 listed. This specimen appears to be rust free. However, in this condition the price is ambitious for a dormant non running vehicle. Hopefully, the Seller is flexible.

You're being kind by using the word "ambitious".

I had the same thought when I saw the asking price. But it looked worth saving,  so hopefully the seller can be negotiated with.

I'm a big fan of retro cars. Like all Cadillac models, in 1938 LaSalle received a one-piece alligator-type hood, a wider radiator grille and a gearbox lever on the steering column, and in 1939 - a narrow grille, close-set headlights, vertical slots in the front fenders and a shortened to 120" wheelbase. A chic car that is appreciated. And yes, by the way, I would like to tell you that I dream of having my own fleet of retro cars and keep an active Instagram about it.
