I have one from a 1960 transmission. According to the MPL, it's the same from 1960 to 1963. Pictures are available if you would like. $ 120.00 + shipping from Switzerland.

What do you need?  There are several pieces to a valve body.  I have a few in stock. Not sure how to attach a picture.

I will do. For that I have to go to my store room at 10 miles. If you take a look at the shop manual, you will see, like Russ Austin wrote, that this is an assembly of 3 valve bodies, therefore a part number is not available. Even each valve body is an assembly of the body plus the valves inside. There is never a part number which can be seen on an assembly.
The transmission was OK, it was replaced by another one because the flywheel housing was broken. From the remaining 1960 parts, I used many to overhaul other transmissions.

Here are the pictures from the valve body I took home. It seems to be very clean; I removed it myself from the transmission C-60 14800 years ago (I still have the case; this is why I could read the transmission number).
It's rather heavy: more than 2 kg. Shipping to the US will be $ 60.00.
Before installation, it would be wise to open it and clean it thoroughly. I can do it, but it takes about 3 hours (this is the time I'm usually spending for that job) or $ 75.00.

Roger, do you remember how many miles were on the transmission?

To be honest, I have absolutely no idea. However, all the internal parts I removed from that 1960 transmission were in a good condition without any noticeable wear. The most critical parts, like the front unit coupling, are sold since a long time. In fact, I used those parts when I overhauled transmissions which had hard parts issues.
I'm wondering why you are searching a valve body. What is the issue with yours? From the about 30 transmissions I overhauled over the years, I never had problems with that assembly. Which does not mean that a defective valve body is an impossibility; they were in the parts list for a good reason!

I had my tranmsission rebuilt by a knowledgeable transmission guy. There was an anomaly he couldn't seem to resolve. I contacted another expert to get input. He contacted my rebuilder and between the two of them, they concluded the valve body was causing the issue. So I began my search for one I could swape out. My transmission has about 140,000 miles on it.

The issue at hand is upon intially driving less than a mile, I come to a stop and as the transmission down shifts a slight slip occurs. Once the car warms up this goes away. The two experts concluded it was probably in the valve body and if that doesn't fix it then I would probably just have to live with it.

Well, I cannot refute the diagnostic from those two people, even if I have difficulties to accept it. However, as I wrote this morning, there was certainly a reason why valve bodies were offered as spare parts. Who will clean/install the valve body: yourself or your transmission guy? It's not complicated to do, but if you have to lay on your back for that job, it's not fun to get so many droplets of oil....
The guy who drove the car quipped with the valve body I have did not complain. He just took another transmission with an unbroken flywheel housing.

Roger, I would prefer that you clean it. Send me a private message and we will settle up.

Roger provided the valve body. My problem is resolved. Roger was skeptical but it worked. Another one for the books.

It would be interesting to see the internals from your original valve body. If you are not accustomed to the task, you may not see something slightly out of the usual. Who knows, a spring may be at the wrong place or too short/too long...
Anyway, I'm glad this assembly solved your problem.
