I've got an NOS windshield washer reservoir that I bought fore "something" and after a few years it saw the light of day in my garage. GM pare number 1235357.  Anyone have a parts book that can tell me what I've got?
Thanks in advance

Greg, I checked "Container-Windshield Washer" Gr 10.154A. There's no such PN from1959-75.

I think you need 8 digits for a GM part number.   That's probably not the part number, maybe molding or source #.
Get yourself a supply of stick-on labels and mark each piece when you get it.  Or use a marker, but they don't stick good on PE.
If you post a pix, someone may recognize it, if for a Cad.   It has to be after early '60s because they used glass or bags for a while.   The molded ones came later with the mechanical piston pump on the WW motor had a separate molded reservoir.

I have several MPB's including the 1950, 1958, 1965, 1974 in digital form and 1966 to 1969 in print form.  The part #'s I see are 7 digits, usually written as 3 digits, a space, then 4 digits.   Regardless I checked all version I have and did not find this part #. You can see the 1965 MPB entries attached. Nothing close to that # really. I am guessing this is either an other GM make reservoir (i.e. Buick, Olds, etc), or perhaps a part # that was only carried a short time then suddenly replaced with a new part #.

The continual replacement of part #'s (often with literally a different part, but sometimes just a # change) is why I go to the 1965 MPB for the 1963/64 Cadillacs I deal with primarily. By the time you get to the 1974 MPB, many of the part #'s for that year range part are long gone and have been replaced by a newer part. The horns have always been a good example of how things were ever changing. Go to the counter in 1969 for a Lo or Hi note horn for your 1963 Cadillac and they would sell you that newer, smaller style horn as a replacement.
