Grand National participants will again this year have the opportunity to support the Cadillac-LaSalle Club Museum & Research Center at the Annual Museum Auction following the Wednesday evening Cadillac Welcoming Reception. The feature car this year is a 1979 Cadillac Phaeton, one of the Special Edition Cadillacs for 1979. This one is a white sedan with blue top. It is a 96,000 mile car, but runs well. It has been checked and serviced by a certified mechanic, has a new exhaust system and fuel pump and will be driven to the GN from Detroit. There will be many other auction items, including several display car identification standards from the Cadillac Collection, the old Cadillac museum predating the GM Heritage Center. These are great for displaying the info on your Cadillac or LaSalle at car shows.
We will have a large assortment of shop manuals and other literature from the CLCMRC archives, plus museum grill badges and pins for sale as well. Stop by the CLCMRC table near the registration area and say hello.

The car is here in Quincy. It ran like a champ all the way from Detroit. Richard Dormois is doing his detailing magic on it, and it will be auctioned tomorrow evening. Paul Ayres #5640
