Title: 1967 Lower Quarter Patch Panels
Post by: Cadillac Nut on December 01, 2013, 08:45:10 PM
I have searched high and low for patch panels for my 1967s lower quarters.  I have not found anyone who makes these.  My car has the lower portion of the driver's side quarter rusted out, bottom couple inches.  Passenger side is better but still needs a little work.   This is pretty common on '67s so I am surprised no one makes patch panels.  Anybody have any suggestions?  I cannot make them myself.   Anybody out there that could make them for me?
Thanks,
Garrett

Too bad 66 isn't close enough to massage it to make it work.  I've seen 65-66 ones from USA Parts.

I bought front fender patch panels for my 74 Eldorado from a company called Autobody Specialties in Connecticut many years ago.

I just looked at their website and they don't list Cadillacs, but you could give them a call and see.

I can't imagine 74 Eldorados were more collectible then than 67-70 Eldorados are now.

I too have see '65-66 quarters, it's too bad they don't work.  Wonder why those were made and not '67-68.  My car is a Fleetwood 75.  I will contact Autobody Specialties.  Worth a try.    I'd try making them myself but I don't have the tools.

Thanks.

Why don't you try some of those "rust-free" people that advertise in HMN. 1967-68 Cadillacs should be identical, and perhaps even the same years in Olds 98 and Buick 225 Electras.

Thanks.  Last time around I did try some of those people in HMN who advertised rust free parts.  They all wanted to sell me the entire quarter panel.   But I'll give it a shot again.
Bob- It's lower quarter panel patch panels.
Thanks again!
