Title: plugs for 1960 Deville
Post by: 76eldo on February 22, 2015, 04:55:19 PM
I believe the 1960's use R44's.

What's a good replacement plug as these are not available.

Thanks,

Brian

I'd like to stick with AC's.

I hear you, but AC plugs are pretty sad and have been for years from a quality perspective and surface rust.

I'm using R43 or R45S. Up to now, no problem with the AC plugs. I confess that I'm buying older sets on eBay.

Iv'e got AC's in my dads 59'. No problems what so ever. There readily available. The AC plugs in my 472 did start to surface rust but not in the 59'. Although the ones in the 59 were put in like over ten years ago so maybe the quality was better back then.
