Title: Cadillac oils seals?
Post by: David Greenburg on May 28, 2015, 03:13:07 AM
I'm trying to help a neighbor sort through several boxes of inherited car parts.  The decedent had a number of 40's and 50's cars, including '58 and '59 Cadillacs, as well as Mopars and Fords (cars were all sold a while ago).  The family thinks that the oil seals pictured below are for the Cadillacs, but they are one of the few parts I don't recognize.  They are National #'s450062 and S9969.  Anyone know what they might fit?

Ken:

It might take a few days. In the meantime, if you're curious, you can google National seal and these numbers, and you can get the dimensions.  They appear to be currently available and inexpensive.  I was just trying to figure out what they might fit.

#450062 measurements are legible on the boxes on the picture :)
