Our car was finally delivered, 1940 LaSalle 5019...woo hoo! Wife and I are excited!
And immediately I noticed a small leak in the oil filter area..work to do, work to do.
:)
I have one that I just restored. Same model and color.
Love it.
Nice car Herb......

What a nice car. I've always had a soft spot for the 1940 models.
Welcome Herb but I don;t think your spot lights are quite big enough ;D

It will pass quickly, and you will be entering your summer when your car arrives unlike me who will only have a few weeks to enjoy the car before winter hibernation!

Hey Herb, we're about halfway now.
We went past Japan at 6am Aussie time today.
Even winter time is good where we are, we have lows of around 7 (44 to you guys) to 14 and highs of around 22 to 25. (77 to you guys)
Its a tough ol world in Tin Can Bay Australia.

I've been fortunate to visit Oz a couple of times, Sydney and Melbourne. Not as far north as you are, but I do still have a bottle of Bundy rum I've been nursing for a few years now ;)
I really enjoyed everything, and look forward to visiting again someday!
A bottle of Bundy.....
Mate, you're an Aussie now. (Bundaberg is only about 2 hours drive away from here.)
