Interesting 1960 Coupe deVille special ordered with white leather interior.
Rare white painted wheelcovers too.

Sure seems like the seller is looking for a hefty premium for that "special order"
It doesn't seem he's even aware of the fact, otherwise agreed the BIN price is optimistic given the condition issues, special order or not.
Very interesting!
Will say though... perfect car for the Florida driver given the ridiculously hot weather here. I actually suffered a burn on my arm the other day when I put it on the door top of my black De Ville as I pulled out of my parking lot !!
Using a Blue colored wire with a "crimp-on" for a ground wire is Killing me ::)......... Wasn't there a lower spot you could hide that amateur attempt of Auto Electric 101?

It's probably worth $15,000.00

Hello
From the small sample of pictures, authenticity issues, AND the 5960 Cadillac Chapter Price Guide I would estimate that this is a #5, 1960 Cadillac 6337J SO vehicle.
I wonder how old the AACA senior badge if it even belongs to that car.
Price is only determined at the end of a sale. That aside, some of you guys are either spoilt, or way too picky. Looks like a lovely old car that needs a bit of love that would give someone a lot of fun.
Guys come on, a D-list 90's TV star once rode in it. He's giving it away at that price.
Don't you mean a Double D Listed 90's TV star ;) ;)
Bruce. >:D
The '0' feedback and refusing to speak on the phone to a possible buyer scares the hell out of me.

Bill called it. ;).... It didn't go far over that mark. The "0" feedback is usually a dead giveaway. If you're a car guy, chances are you've bought or sold on eBay at some point in your life. RED Flag..... >:D

I sold a collector motorcycle on eBay and new eBayer won the bid and did not pay for a few days then called me and wanted to come see the bike. He was calling from Israel and said "Don't worry about pay, Everyone in Israel knows me" He is a financial advisor on TV in Israel and came and stayed with me a week and we had many great motorcycle tours around Seattle area. Great experience for both of us and I have standing invitation to go to Israel and tour with him and his friends. By the way he did pay with no problems.
Yes there are scammer on eBay and there are novices also.
I agree with Quentin here. It's a 3x white 60 CdV, appears to be all there with plenty of potential.
$10K buys junk in a '60 CdV nowadays.
A good detail, a bit of mechanical sorting and a much better presentation, car should make 20K+ all day.
Guys,
What the hell is that guy doing??? Is that car for sale or not?? He keeps on relisting it!!
Bob
I have had many good transactions on eBay selling cars for other people and for myself.
Yes there are some potential scammers and non paying bidders but you can usually weed them out during the process.

Guess it never hits his reserve Bob?
Buy it now is at 17,500 . I need more garage :'(
Someone in CA should go over with $15K cash and grab this car. Same thing in a '59 would be near double. Cannot see how one could go wrong at that figure...assuming nothing is seriously amiss.
Guys,
If anyone is SERIOUSLY interested in this car, please contact me DIRECTLY at bobscads@comcast.net
Thanks, Bob
$16,400 sold.
All things considered, I think it was well bought.
