I Finished my double wide four post lift and thought I would share this picture.

Very very nice.   BUT, do I see the cross bar bending?   Or is that an optical illusion?

Yea it’s an inch in 17 foot. I am going to bow it up an 1.25 so it settles straight. It hangs on fork Truck mast chain (leaf chain) the sag is not critical just looks weird.

I knew it had to be a custom-build, and you did a great job of fabricating the whole hoist.

Now to lift up my house so I can install a hoist. ;)

Looks like a storage problem solved, and in my IL state. 

Height is a problem with a hoist.  There is a similar situation
at this moment here, 2 cars and a single width (2 post) lift. 
It does make some more space.  Trouble is, how many cars
need to be moved if another car needs some service on a lift.

I found the plates locally on Craig’s list I gave the guy 25 for the pair in excellent condition. I thought it was pretty unique.
