Nice story! If I'm getting up to that age, will I still be able to drive?
A great story, except the part about it being withheld as evidence.
The dude is 106, how long are they gonna keep it?
Honestly, in his shoes I'd be mighty tempted to say "Dust it for prints, check for hairs, and then either give it back or just drop the charges. I'd rather botch the investigation than not get my car back while I'm around."
(Also, I suspect that even if the charges get dropped, there might be more than a few vets who'd happily give the thief a call he wouldn't soon forget...)
That's a great story for sure. I'm glad he's gonna get it back, but like someone else said, I hope they don't wait too long.
I'd like to still be able to drive at his age. Hell, I'd just like to live to his age. LOL!
What a beautiful car too. Good for him!
I second that Cadman-iac. Clay/Lexi
At 106, he sounds like he is in better condition than me, and I am only 72.
Trust he has many more wonderful years of driving a beautiful vehicle.
Bruce. >:D
Can you imagine dancing with Rita Hayworth?!?
And she, no doubt, had a crush on Curly who was a genuine, hero-type guy.
Cool story. And really cool car.
