When I went to the store for lunch (deli) I noticed as I got back in the car, a piece of paper that appeared to be a label. I picked it up and saw that it was from under the dash and the adhesive had finally dried out and fallen off.
It says: Post Pass 6 6 90
2 12 157
Since they are the only digits that make any sense, I would assume the dash was assembled on June 6th of 1990. My car was the 230th Seville assembled. No biggie, I just had a moment and thought I'd throw it into the pot for today.
There are a lot of various parts under the dash that have tags on them. Cruise control module, ECM, even the wiring harness has one or two. The instrument cluster and radio, but usually most of the tags have a part number on it. I don't know what that one might have come from.
Interesting though. Maybe someone else has an answer for what it might be.
