Title: 1958 Seville data plate
Post by: Lars Kneller 8246 on November 29, 2021, 02:34:39 PM
Posting this for a friend that is not forum savvy:

This  data plate is on a 58 Seville.
One part of the code is making me crazy - see the Trim code says "50B".    I can't find any reference to a "B" in the 58 or the 57 books.  I found that from 1959 - 1966 .......a  "B" indicated bucket seats.  Tim Pawl suggested that this 1958  "B" means bucket seats but the car has all original interior (pretty badly deteriorated) but definitely the original interior and definitely a bench seat.
Any clue to this mystery ?

Thanks for your help!
