Title: 1955 Cadillac Eldorado
Post by: wpr1940 on December 08, 2021, 10:43:48 AM
We are currently restoring a '55 Cadillac Eldorado. We need a photo reference of the underside of front convertible top header bow – our project car seems to be missing something in this area. There are screw holes as if there was filler strip. This is where the top closes on windshield.

Sorry W....It took so long to get the top up on the 55 Eldorado and get some pictures of those header screws....

Your right, it looks like there is a metal strip screwed the length of the front header....It holds down that front baloney roll that sits on top of the windshield trim, stopping water and wind from coming inside the car....

I hope these help....
