Hello everyone. I'm looking for a chrome plating company in Ohio. Does anybody have referrals to a business who does a good job? Reasonal prices delivery times are of my concern. Any suggestions or comments on out-of-state platers will be greatly appreciated... John Lehman... CLC# 26365....

Hello John,

In the state of Ohio the authority on good shops is Fred Zwicker. You can find his contact information in the Cadillac LaSalle Club Directory.

John,

I live in NE Ohio and use Paul's Chrome in the Cranberry area of PA -
They are the best on pot metal that I have found, but not cheap.

I was at Paul's yesterday and they are running about 8-12 weeks.  Keystone is probably a little longer.  At this time of year, they get a "rush".

For bumpers (not pot metal) several of my friends recommend Keystone Plating.

I will second Fred's recommendation on Paul's Chrome.

I've used them in the past and the quality of the work is excellent.  Not cheap,
but no good plater is.

They're about 15 minutes from my house.

I can recommend Jon Wright at Custom Chrome Plating in Grafton, OH.  He's pleasant to work with.  http://www.customchromeplating.com/  He has done plating for cars exhibited at Pebble Beach.
