What a great day!  Got my vacuum antenna back a couple weeks ago and my radio back yesterday.  Installed both today and they are working exactly like new.

Klaus Wojack restored the vacuum antenna.  It looks and works great. Here's a video of it in action :

Charles Siegfried of Sebastopol, CA restored my Wonderbar radio perfectly.  What a great job!  The signal seeking is on the money and it looks fabulous!  Here's a video of it 5 minutes after installation:

He told me stopped advertising in Hemmings because he was getting too many calls about electric antennas, taking away from his bench time.

Hi Charlie
Antenna was $420 plus shipping both ways. Radio was $480 plus shipping.
I also had him install an "aux in" so I can play music off of my phone.  That was an extra $50 I think..maybe $75.  Shipping that radio from Connecticut to California was alot more expensive than I expected, but after talking to several different radio repair specialists, I decided Mr. Siegfried was the one I trusted most.

It was definitely not cheap to get these done, but very satisfying and they work perfectly.
