I doubt the guy actually walked away as stated as there's blood all over the seat and they had to cut the roof off to get him out. Alive, but beat up I would guess.

The car did everything right to protect the driver. I had a customer I'd sold a '93 Seville. I've mentioned before that I took him out back to see a similar car that had been T-boned @ 70 MPH. I walked him all around the car in a circle, opening (and closing) each door in turn. They all clicked shut like a similar new car on the lot. That "cage" is nice to have.
