I was throwing out a muscle, Classic & Sports Car Trader today and noticed something of interest.  It is the Nov. 2006 copy and I received it in a eBay purchase.  On page 13 there is an ad for the following car:
“1931 Cadillac Sedan, rare, 16 cyl, informal limo, 99percent complete, needs restoration, once owned by Dupont Estate,  513-353-3327  Cleves  RCA71045/00527907304”
A picture is included but it shows a car w/o a hood, no fenders, and not much there to identify it as any make of car.

Just an FYI  for the people who care about these truly rare cars.

I know that the DuPont family of Wilmington, DE, have (or had) a 1939 V-16 town car with a custom body by Derham. It certainly would be no surprise to learn that they had sixteens of earlier years too. I s.hall try to contact the advertiser

Hello Yann

I you like, I will send you the catalog for the crummy picture.  Here is my email to send your address if you would want it.  Let me know if you do not want it, so I can throw it out.  I can almost see the top of my desk again.

Thanks for the offer David.  If you can scan the image, that would be fine. If you dont think its worth scanning, thats no problem either. Lets hope the vendor remembers the car and knows its current location, so that I may add it to the database.
