I'm reinstalling the hydramatic on my 47 and have forgotten where the thick washers go on the trans mount.  Do they go between the rubber mount and the crossmember or under the bolt head below the crossmember?

G'day Bob,

I am definitely not an expert on the '47, but in all cars I have worked on, the Washers go under the head of the Bolt.

This spreads the load when the bolt is tightened.
