Pu-Yi was made puppet emperor of Maunchuria by the Japanese, in 1934; apparently he got a custom V-16 state limousine, for the ceremony, ordered from GM in 1932. There is a fuzzy photo of it in this You-Tube clip of the Emperor's last palace residence: http://www.uykucu.org/watch_video/rOBMF8m7G0A.aspx/Pu-yi's-palace [1st minute]. The car exists also in 1:18 scale in Anson's "Signature" series.

Does anybody have any recent information about this car or can confirm that it has survived?
