Will shortly be removing one of the cylinder heads of the V 12 to check the valve seating. When in the past on stripping down the `Silent Valve`mechanism have had to replace some of the springs under the plungers with what came to hand at that moment.Would now like to replace all the springs-the ones under the plungers and those inside.Would anyone know the original specifications of these springs?Would prefer to have them made up to correct rate rather then sending the best of tired springs as samples to the manufacturer!
Even better if by any chance someone has a set of new that one could borrow!-unlikely but you never know?
These springs can be seen on page 66 of the Cadillac Shop Manual fig 2-silencer springs/dashpot valve springs.
Many thanks-Paul Richfield (South of France).
