Does anyone know of a conversion Mount to mount an Alternater in 60 Cad?
Chipscaddys does a modification to exist mount, but I am a little concerned about Strength.
Would like a proper Bracket, not a bolt together Universal that I have

PETE, If you are concarned that the bracket is not strong enought, go to google and "type-in gen-a-nater. there are two guys converting Generator- to- alternater wherein you use your old generator.HTH  Good Luck,Jim    P.S if you decide that tthe bracket, ask to be allod to test it , or else get a warrenty that it will not brake.

I own a 1961 coupe deville that has a generator. I removed the generator, reversed the bracket the generator was mounted on and the alternator fit perfectly in its place. check it out it should work!
