How do we get green mold off of a dark red, cloth covered roof?

Hi, I'm a brand new member, joining on behalf of my adult son who owns a 1990 Cadillac.

It's white with a red cloth roof.  It was very used when he got it about 10-12 years ago, and I feel sorry for it.
He babies it, but most of the wear and tear was already there when he got it... it was his first car, around high school graduation.

Anyway, the thing I'd like to do for him is to help him get the green mold (in the form of round, green spots) off the dark red (maroon?) cloth covered roof.

Of course, my usual mold removal method is chlorine bleach, which would not be acceptable for this job!  haha

Does anyone have experience successfully cleaning this stuff up?

Thanks,
