There is a snap that holds the convertible top to the car body just behind the lower corner of the side window on 1940 LaSalle 52 convertibles. I have seen the LaSalles with a single male snap attached to the body on some cars and a slide snap on others. The 1941 convertibles all seem to have the slide snap. Can anyone comment as to which snap is correct for the 1940 LaSalle 52 convertibles?
