I have a 1940 La Salle Model 5267 and am looking for some help regarding my radio.  My radio's side bracket is missing.  I am hoping I could replicate it, but need to see what it looks like.  Is there anyone out there that would have a drawing or a picture of how that bracket looks and where it is mounted?

That little bracket is mounted on the cowl vent mounting base. It's shown i the radio shop manual, and I can look it up. But, unless you could see one, it would be very hard to figure out how to make a new one. Unfortnately, the majority of those brackets were baled up with the car, so that's why you never see one. If someone here has one that you can see a pix of (I haven't one), then you will be in business. It isn't very complicated, but having one to copy is the best way out of the problem.

I have a bracket on my radio and can make one for you . Give me a calll if interested. You can make one too if you have a mill, or like to do a lot of filing. (231) 889-3343

Hey LRT, did you ever get your bracket? I think I might have one.
