The Authenticity Manual states that the entire frame and chassis was assembled, minus the engine, transmission and splash pans, and then was painted. Am I to assume this means the front springs, front axle, torque tube, rear end, and rear springs were all on the car and then painted? Were all of the nuts and bolts and cotter keys painted also?

Keith - The answer is, apparently yes.  I say apparently, because I have found factory color on all these parts on a chassis from a car that was ordered with a green running gear set.  Paul Ayres
