Anyone know what the proper light bulb size is for the instrument cluster on a 1940 Cadillac (series 72 in particular, but I imagine it would be the same across the board).

Also, where I can get such bulbs would be awesome.

Thanks!

Hi Joe,

According to the 1940 Shop Manual, it takes a Mazda #55, a 1.5 candlepower, single contact bulb.  Try Bob Cooper for the bulb if you can't find it locally.  (818) 567-4140.

Can you provide a link?  My searches turn up too many or too few.

Thanks!
