My 54 coupe currently has Gold valve covers- they seem to be  repainted. Could someone tell me the proper valve cover and engine color for a 54 series 62 coupe . Thanks for your help.  ( standard 331 V8  -  NON CoupeDeville )

Your engine, including valve covers, should be "Cadillac Blue".  Bill Hirsch has the correct
color available in spray cans.  He's in Hemming's every month or find him on the net.

thanks  Mike !  I stripped off the old paint and found what seemed to be the factory color. ( Blue) -- I was kinda hoping that the embossed "Cadillac" script would be in white for that year.. that would look great - but I will keep it authentic. Thanks for your help - i will look up Bill hirsch and order the proper Caddy Color for the covers ,block and intake. Thanks again.
