FYI--Here is a link to photos of the production version 2010 SRX crossover utility vehicle from Cadillac, on sale the second quarter this year:

It is poised to go head-to-head with the Number One selling luxury vehicle in the USA, said to be the Lexus RX350 (incidentally, also due for a re-design for 2010). It looks like it will help out Cadillac in the marketplace (though our old Cadillacs are so much nicer)!  ;)

It looks a lot like Dodge's Magnum and with all of the styling that put that car out of production.  I am guessing that it will have a better ride than the Dodge's "buckboard" suspension in the Magnum and zero visibility out of the side and rear windows.  At least they're trying to provide a utility vehicle that is a car and not a truck.  It could be a classy car if they refined it.  Hopefully it's not another case of "if we build it they will buy it" syndrome.  Good luck GM.  Good effort, needs more work!

From what I saw in the Jalopnik article, and the article in the Detroit News:
http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090103/AUTO04/901030446/1364/AUTO01
neither one makes reference to a third row of seats.

With no option for a third row, that will be a deal breaker for some families - it will be for mine! :-[
