Not being able to see what they look like installed probably makes them look weirder but why are the head rests so far off center toward each side of the car?

They're in my living room floor, they won't b installed till all mechanical & paint is done

The headrests are not centered on the seat.  Looking at a photo of one of my cars, it does look a little strange.  I guess they are figuring the space in the middle of the 60/40 seat as a place for a 3rd person?

It looks like half of your head wouldn't even be in contact with the headrest unless you were seated off center or sitting at some weird angle. I wonder why they did that?

I think by them being out of the car & not lined up properly throws u off alil bit. These seats came out of a wrecked Eldorado '85 i beleive.
