Anyone shipping parts from the west coast to midwest.

I have found NOS exhaust system for my 58 Caddy.  The trouble is I'm in the Detroit, MI area and the parts are around Seattle, WA.   By any chance does someone know of a truck line or private trucker that makes a run like this?  UPS is around $350. so that makes this a really expensive exhaust system.  I'm just trying for a long shot here, but at least it is a try.  I would like to do this in the next few weeks.

I think you need to recheck your prices with UPS. I bought an entire dual exhaust system including mufflers for my '56. The entire system was shipped to me by UPS for under $50. The pipes were wrapped together with sturdy packing tape and the mufflers were in individual cardboard boxes taped together as one unit.

Somebody's giving you bad information.
