I feel some public adulation is in order... My wife ordered "Cadillacs of the Sixties" for me for Christmas. I was very impressed to find out that Mr. Schneider himself called and arranged to get it shipped in time for the holidays - Very cool!! Anyway, thank you Roy (if you're out there), the Mrs. didn't have your info to thank you personally and to let you know it got here. Thank you very much, it is greatly appreciated.

Chris, I don't think he's ever on this board. Give him a call. Bob

I ordered Cadillacs of the Sixties a couple of years ago directly from Mr. Schneider.  It was a Christmas present to a friend who loves Cadillacs.  I asked him if he wouldn't mind jotting a note inside the front cover to the recipient making the book all the more special.  He very kindly obliged.  What a great guy!

OMG!!!

No lie: I am looking at the receipt for my copy:  Purchased 12/31/1992  from Classic Motorbooks for: $49.95 on my MasterCard.

Again, the spine is ripping and some of the pages are a little dirty, but...

My "Cadillacs of the Sixties" is autographed and was a Christmas gift and was probably $50-60 at least 10-15 years ago.

I got the 1940's book for about $35 4 years ago--WITH the dust jacket--on ebay!

MAN!  I WISH he'd do a "Cadillacs of the '70's" and "80's"!!!!

I wish they'd build the cars again, too...

As long as we're wishing, I hope the reports that Mr. Schneider is working on a new edition of Sixteen Cylinder Motorcars are true and that it will be published in the near future. I've wanted one since I first heard about it (which was after it was out of print), but copies of the original are very scarce and when they do surface they sell for several hundred dollars.

That is an obscene price.

I purchased my two copies (50's and 60's) from a Cadillac Dealer in California in 2002 for a stupidly rediculous price, but on the other end of the scale.

They are still in perfect condition, even though I use them for reference on a regular occasion.

All - Just for the record, that book went for $404 and change.

Note to Mr. Schneider - get in touch with your publisher.  I'd go $75 for one...
