Does anyone know the thread for the scres that hold the two halves of the taillight housing togetrher. I've trie a 1/4, to big, a10-24,too small.Do any of the parts suppliers sell a set. Thanks, Steve

I don't know the answer, but you should be able to measure the diameter to find the size. As for threads, take the threaded half to a local hardware store that sells screws and bolts individually. You can try out every size on the rack if you are up for it. Some size/thread combinations are not going to be available. You may have to order from a fastener supplier. Boat supply stores are another place to try for random assorted fasteners too. Alternately, if there are any real full-service hardware stores left, they used to have lathes in the store and would cut threads for you while you waited. You will not find that service in the big-box hardware stores.
