Getting ready to work on my 1927 314 .  I  want to paint the engine.
Can't seem to find out what the color is .  Every time I see one on line.
there is no paint.  Where would be a good place to get it.
Thanks.

Alan - In general, the aluminum parts of your engine (crankcase, intake manifold, etc.) were natural finish aluminum.  The blocks and cylinder heads, and other iron parts of the engine were black.  The exhaust manifolds should be black porcelain.  Paul Ayres

I know about the aluminum.  Just clean it good.  The black color was at question.  Thanks.  Black it will be.
