freind who is a mechanic just said spark is kind of weak  do not have an owners manual yet.  i have several other classics  will a lincoln or packard condensor work?

Just about any condensor for any 40s to 70s car will work just fine, and any coil  6 or 12V.  So just try anything to get a good spark. I assume the points are good. Clean and adjust them will.
