My 2006 DTS shows "Service Tire Pressure Monitor" and there are no readings for any of the tires. I just bought the car and it was recently serviced and I was not told if the tires were rotated and if they were they should have relearned the tire pressures in all four wheels, I see in the owner's manual there is a way to reset it. Should I try this first before I go back to the dealer? How difficult is it to do, it seams easy enough? Thanks for the help.

on chevys you put it learning mode and adjust the pressure up then down unrtil the confirmation honk...start pass side then work way around. you have 5 min to set all 4 or you must start over. dont worry about getting the pressures right until all four are relearned...the dealer uses a tool to reset them not sure if it cosrs or not.

I believe I read somewhere once that if the tires are rotated and the TPMS is not reset, that could bugger up the system also.

If you rotate the tires with this system, you must reset the TPM system computer or else
you will keep getting "alerts".  I have it in my 2004 Escalade.

A proceedure is in the Shop Manual but perhaps is best left to the Dealer.
