I'd like to install DVD headrests in my 2006 DTS. I am looking at either the generic replacement type in the matching color or GM factory replacements. Both are pre-wired and i was wondering if I should tackle this myself or have the pros do it. Is this a hard job?

I see so many views but no one has had any experience doing this?

What's the cost difference between GM and aftermarket for these headrests?

I could have the electronics place that sells them install them for $1,000.  That is $800.00 for the headrests and $200.00 installation. The Cadillac replacements are $1,500.00 just for the headrests only.
