Does anyone know if the  Cadillac 2009 CTS has a frame or a unibody.

Roger Zimmermann

Brenda, recent cars have a unibody construction! In the case of the CTS, there is a separate crossmember in the front supporting the suspension and engine, a cross member further back supporting the transmission and, at the rear, another crossmember or sub-frame for the suspension.
The last Cadillac with a real frame was the Fleetwood. Of course, the Escalade has a frame, but it's a truck, not a car.

Passenger cars haven't had body on frame construction since the early 70s.

The other exception is the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis/Town Car (which the CV is fleet only now).
