What do these numbers mean off the cowl tag on a 62 cad?

05d 62-6347
fw19930 43 24

Chris Conklin

05D = designates the month/week it was built, the fourth week of May
62-6347 = it should say STYLE next to this, it is a 1962(62) Series 63 Coupe de Ville (63s are de Villes, the 47 designates coupe)
FW 19930 = the FW is assumed to be Fleetwood even if it was a Fisher bodied car, this is CDV number 19,930 out of 25,675 made

I'm going to guess the numbers you state are next to PAINT and TRIM on the tag?

PAINT 24 = Avalon Blue
TRIM 43 = Seats made of cloth inserts of Blue Chelsea, Blue leather bolsters

There should also be an area on the tag for accessories - ACC with letters next to it, these will designate options on the car. Most every car of this vintage will have an E and H, EZ Eye tinted windows and a heater.
