update on the 38 cadillac losing coolant at overflow tube

thanks for all the help. it came down the a bad radiator cap. i had the right 4 lb. cap on the car when i get the car. one of the parts houses said there book  showed a non pressure cap. but they were wrong.i drove the car over 20 miles today with the new cap  without loosing any coolant or running hot. so thanks again for all of the input.
