I have found an easy way of cleaning the chassis without getting dirty.

Get your son to do it for you. I had to do this because my wife said she wouldn't.

There is no respect these days.

I am loving doing this rebuild. I hope the love remains and the fun.

I wonder how many people are going to notice the beautiful, unpolluted Blue, Cloudless Sky in the background?

How did you get the body off the frame?  I'm going to be doing that soon with the 61 Fleetwood and am looking for suggestions.  The only other body I've ever taken off was a Super Beetle Convertible.  That was a cake walk compared to what this will be.

Check out the start of this thread titled "My 57 Fleetwood restoration photos with questions".
I had a little bit of help from my hoist.

I plan to do up the chassis first, then rustproof the bottom of the body, and then join the two parts back together before doing any work on the body.
I do not have any rust to cut out on the body at all.
I only have to sand, for many, many hours, ensure all of the alignments are good, then paint. Sounds simple enough.
Unlike some of the work I have seen other guys do on this site, my task is more or less a cut and polish, well almost.

Oh and I have to find somewhere to put all the parts in the photo. How hard could it be.

Good luck with your project
