Does anyone know what the proper main jetting is for the single Rochester 4 jet carb on this model? Thanks, Norm.

Thanks for the info.
Do the last two numbers of the part numbers you gave me correspond to the numbers stamped on the jets, as it seems to, in this case?

Also, I need the steering box rebuilt. Who is a good, credible person I could rely on, as I am fairly new to this type of work? I am a master mechanic and can remove/replace this steering box.
Thanks again.

Hi Norm,

Click on the link below my name for a comprehensive list of vendors specializing in Cadillac parts and service and general restoration services. There are several companies listed that rebuild steering gear boxes.

Lares Corporation, for example is one of them.

Norm,

For your first question, that would be correct..!

I would second Otto's comments for Lares Corp. as the steering box rebuilder.

guys,

i may be mistaken but i found a supplier that has rebuilt ones in stock on a trade basis.  i cant remember the link or company name but will modify later when i find it at home.  i thought they were pretty reasonable at around 200. with the core exchange.  core charge is 100.00.
