Can anyone tell me how to take the lock out of the glove box door on my 56 ? I don't have the key either, don't know if it would be needed or not.
Thanks
Michael

I tried to find it in the shop manual, no luck. If I remember right  the chrome bezel that goes around the button is multi sided (8 sides?) on the inside. So if you push the button all the way in ,you can use a piece of srcap metal to make a tool that will  fit over the button , to catch the inside of the bezel, then turn the bezel and remove it. Warren
